Proper alignment is essential when practicing yoga, and in this workshop Jamie will break down each posture to ensure you are creating the proper muscle memory, receiving maximum benefit from each pose and providing variations to customize your practice. Both seasoned and new yogis will walk away with a deeper understand of their body, the proper alignment of each pose and ways to intensify or modify poses based on your goals. This workshop is designed for all levels of yogis who are wanting to deepen their practice and gain an increased knowledge of body alignment. (This workshop will NOT be heated)

Explore Going Upside Down with Jamie Malinowski with Jamie Malinowski Sat, Nov 3, 2018 at 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm

This fun, challenging workshop is designed to teach you how to balance on your hands and head with greater confidence and ease. Often students over-rely on force when practicing these poses rather than learning to understand the essential actions and movements. Jamie will help break down these balancing postures from the beginning giving you the exercises and drills needed to balance and invert safely. All levels of yogis are welcomed, all that is needed is a willingness to try and have a little fun even if you topple over. During this workshop we will explore headstand, handstand and other arm balances. (This workshop will NOT be heated)
